I had my class observation today with Michele. Michele started her class by asking questions about the homework. Then, Michele started talking about the TOEFL. Many of the students in her class were going to take the TOEFL in the next couple of days. Michele answered any questions the students had about the exam. After going over TOEFL, Michele asked the students if they had any vocabulary words from the reading. Michele asked me to introduce myself, after she answered all the vocabulary questions. Michele gave the students some reading material. The students had to underline any vocabulary word they did not understand and then write an essay using those words. I think Michele is a good teacher because her method is very student centered.
