Kasper - CP 3

Last week my conversation partners, Fahd and Alaa, went to the Mellow Mushroom to get some pizza. They had not been to a pizza place besides Domino's or Pizza Hut. These chains are also found in Saudi Arabia (I'm not surprised). We always seem to get on the subject of american companies "invading" countries like Saudi Arabia. I asked Alaa to order out food so he could practice speaking but it was difficult since the waitress spoke very fast. Besides that she was very friendly, we ordered a pizza that contained pork so we asked her to remove it, she said she would and later she came back to tell us she also asked the cook to clean the grill aswell (the pizza we ordered had grilled chicken). We talked about why muslims cant eat pork, other muslim traditions that are different from other religions and how they were adjusting here in the US. They said that its not very difficult here in tallahassee since there are many muslims here. The pizza arrived and they were pleased with it but they were emphatic that dominos is the best pizza. oh well, Im hoping we can get some mexican food next time. i know its better than taco bell!
