Francisco CP-9
I had completely forgotten that SungJin offered to pay for my meal. My intentions were to play it off as a nice gesture but ultimately pay for my own meal. When I tried to tell the server that it was to be in two separate checks, SungJin insisted that he wants to pay for my meal. I could tell that he originally had the intentions of paying for my meal all along so I eventually succumbed to his extreme kindness. SungJin asked me what to order because the menu contained a plethora of dishes in which he did not understand. He told me that he trusts his teacher and that I should choose his plate. I became honored at this request and ordered SungJin the only meal that I could think of that is an absolute favorite for everyone; the Fajita Burrito. I ordered the Talipa quesadilla which contained a variety of meats and seafood, which I must say so myself, was delicious. While we waited for our food, Jackie, her two friends, SungJin, Jia and I all introduced ourselves and got to know each other. I immediately told the table that SungJin is to be a substitute in sailing for the 2012 London Olympics. This sparked much interest in SungJin and our party inquired about the subject. I could tell SungJin did not have any problem being in the spotlight, so he added that he "finished his girlfriend." The whole table laughed (including myself) and I clarified to the party that SungJin meant to say his relationship with his girlfriend has ended.
