We (well, I) got in a healthy dose of jammin' & dancin' while Ahmed conversed with the TEFL girls and the sizable group of CIES kids. After having to rescue poor Ali from a belligerent and quite intoxicated American woman, we decided it was time to call it a night. Thanks to Ramin and the Maharaja Flamenco Trio for providing an evening of entertainment!

Jules CP-9
To all who missed Ramin's band on Friday at Chez Pierre, you can go ahead and kick yourselves now. Brittany, Whitney, and Pat will certainly back me up on this one. My conversation partner Ahmed had called that afternoon to see if I'd take him laptop-shopping, and afterward I invited him out for a taste of Tally nightlife. I was flabbergasted to learn that this was his first time to go out at night in America -- we need to organize some trips for our car-less international friends!

Officially backing this up! Ramin and the Trio were awesome! Hanging out with my CP Ali and some other CIES students was fun and interesting as always, especially when cultural social situations collide! Jules got her jam on while the rest of us were engrossed in music, conversation and good food! I'll be posting on this soon... :)
